Klass loops guitar, voice, beatboxing, drum samples, bass synths and effects to create original, improvised dance music compositions on the spot. All live, no backing tracks!
Over the past several years Klass has emerged as a force in the solo live looping world. By using unprecedented techniques to create fluid, progressive, high energy songs, he has bent the typical limitations of the genre and turned it into an art form all his own. His past history as a songwriter, lead guitarist and producer have translated into the driving force behind his solo music; melody, technique, and composition. A diverse range of emotional devices allow Sam to carry a set into a frenzy of sweaty dancing bodies. Always alive with real energy reciprocated by the audience, his technical performance, improvisational risk-taking, and human presence will captivate you, even if you're seeing it for the first time.
Sam has appeared at a number of major events across the US and Canada including Electric Forest, Shambhala, Sonic Bloom, Evolve, Connect, Harvest, Illumination, Valhalla Sound Circus, Come Together and more. He has shared the bill with a long list of world class acts including Dub FX, Keller Williams, Papadosio, Gramatik, The New Deal, Marco Benevento, Whitebear, and Bluetech, just to name a few. Klass has played live with Defunk numerous times and has appeared on 3 of his releases so far.

Bringing the deepest vibes in drum & bass, Totemic combines fast-paced mixes with live violin instrumentation to take the dance floor on a tour through the sub frequencies.
